Sidekick helps match AI-native builders with industry leaders. This page applies to the Sidekick marketing site and waitlist operated under that name. It explains what personal information we collect when you use those surfaces, how we use it, and how long we keep it.

When you join the waitlist, we ask for: your name, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, whether you are joining as a leader or a builder, and optionally how you heard about us (source). Builders may also share a GitHub URL; leaders may also share a company website.

We may also receive technical information that browsers and hosting providers typically send–such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device or browser type, referrer, and pages visited–when you browse the site or submit a form.

We do not ask for passwords on the waitlist. Do not send sensitive credentials through these forms.

We use waitlist information to contact you about Sidekick–for example when applications open, to understand demand by track (leader vs builder), and to improve how we run admissions and matching.

We use site and analytics data to operate and improve the marketing site (reliability, performance, content), and to understand aggregate traffic.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers who help us run Sidekick–for example hosting, databases, email delivery, and analytics–only as needed to provide those services.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a reorganization, financing, or sale of assets related to Sidekick, where permitted.

We do not share waitlist contact details with other waitlist participants for marketing.

We keep waitlist records for as long as they are useful for contacting you about Sidekick and operating admissions–typically until you ask us to remove them, or until we close or replace the waitlist program and no longer need the data.

Server and analytics logs are retained for shorter operational windows set by our providers, then deleted or aggregated.

The marketing site uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand traffic and performance. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers and collect usage metrics as described by Vercel.

Essential cookies or storage may be used for site function (for example session or preference behavior on other Sidekick surfaces when those ship). We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this page set.

To update or delete your waitlist entry, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@sidekick.builders. We will respond within a reasonable time.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect analytics or site features.

Sidekick is aimed at adults in a professional context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

We may change this policy as the product and our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the new terms.
